The main reason I like Seifer, is his dream. Or more the fact
that no matter how messed up in the head he was, while he had
a goal, a dream to aspire too, he charged ahead no matter what
it cost him. He desperately wanted to achieve, and though he eventualy
failed to maintain his dream he got there, and he got there his
way. Not letting anything, or anyone stand in his way for longer
than it took to cut them down.
But then, when I think about it, I wonder... what was his dream?
Everyone else seems convinced that his 'Romantic dream' was to
serve the sorceress. Somehow that just doesnt seem like it to
me. I mean if that was his goal, would he have tried to kill the
president of the sorceress' country? would have he been borderline
rude to her when they met.
Its just this feeling I get that being the sorceress' knight wasnt
the dream he started out with, but something more manipulated
out of him by the sorceress.
What could it have been then?
To be a knight, a warrior of great stature who gets respect?
To be somebodies knight in shining armour?
To forge out a destiny all his own, to become something uncommon
and defeat that which he deams if evil?
The symbol he carries, The Fire-Cross (Looks like a cross/sword.)
Reminds me of some kind of over zealous religous fighter. Who
though meaning well often has to overkill to get the job done.
(Think of cleansing fire. It burns and destroys.)
